PARIS, Ky. (WKYT) - Many residents in Paris were experiencing water problems early Sunday morning after officials say someone hit a fire hydrant on 8th Street.
According to officials, someone struck the hydrant with a tractor around 10:30am, while mowing the field. The Paris Water Department are currently on the scene trying to determine the best way to stop the water flow and fix the problem.
Officials say several residents are experiencing water problems including low water pressure and no pressure at all.
At this time officials say it is unclear how many residents are affected and how long it will be before the fire hydrant is fixed and water pressure is restored.
