A big crowd was on hand for the first night of the black gold festival in downtown Hazard on Thursday.
Christian singer Adam Crabb revved up the crowd with his performance on Thursday night at the amphitheatre next to city hall.
Workers at the festival say the nice weather is helping bring folks in from everywhere.
The festival will continue through Saturday night.
The parade is Saturday morning at eleven.
