HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) - The Perry County School System could be on their way to having a new superintendent.
A special called board meeting is scheduled for Thursday morning at 10am.
The only items on the agenda are to consider the acceptance of Superintendent John Paul Amis's resignation, retirement, or to consider terminating his contract.
