The recent dry weather is leading to fire concerns.
Crews had to respond to a small forest fire off Highway 80 in Perry County on Tuesday.
Fire officials say they aren't sure what started the blaze, but a quick response was necessary to prevent damage to some houses in the area.
"We had a fire reported here earlier. Right now its under containment. The lines have been put in. Just got burnout now and that's pretty much it right now." Jason Hunt from the Kentucky Division of Forestry said.
Officials are asking everyone to not burn anything outdoors.
Several counties have burn bans in effect.
