Fire destroys home

HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) - A home was destroyed after a huge fire in Perry County.

The Hazard Herald reports the fire broke out Thursday afternoon at a home on Crawford Mountain, offf Meadow Brook Terrace.

Officials told the paper several fire departments as well as tanker trucks and two departments battled the inferno.

The cause of the fire is not known.
