HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) - Many were honored for going above and beyond to help the people of Kentucky.
One of those was named Civilian Employee of the Year.
Lori Hunsaker, a Hazard native, was honored for her work in organizing relief efforts following the deadly March 2nd tornado outbreak.
Hunsaker even went as far as organizing a donation drive, and delivering the supplies herself.
She told us the honor was a big surprise!
