PERRY Co., Ky. (WYMT) - If the name William Feltner rings a bell that it is because he was just arrested last week after leading police on a chase.
Feltner is leading law enforcement officials on another chase tonight after jumping out of a moving vehicle, stripping down to his underwear and running into a ravine.
Officials say they received a call around 3:30 p.m. saying William Feltner escaped while transferring from the court house to the jail.
"He kicked the back window out and jumped out of the vehicle at approximately 60 miles an hour," said Police Chief Minor Allen.
Allen says one witness saw Feltner come from behind a building just down from Applebee's, jump the guardrail and run into the ravine, in his underwear and socks.
Officials says they are continuing their search.
One witness says Feltner was limping.
Allen says they are worried about what kind of medical shape he is in and want to have him back in custody as soon as possible.
This is not Feltner's first incident.
"Last week officers chased him and spent overnight looking for him and he has escaped again today," said Allen.
Officials are asking anyone with information on Feltner's whereabouts to contact Hazard Police.
