HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) - The search is on for an escaped inmate.
Officials say Christopher Colwell walked away from work detail in the Pigeonroost community.
Jail officials tell us Colwell was in jail on a probation violation and was set to be released in a few hours.
Police say Robinson Elementary was briefly put on lockdown.
