KSP arrest man accused of setting a forest fire

HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) - A Perry County man is accused of setting a forest fire!

State police say a Division of Forestry Supervisor saw 32-year old Carew "Shorty" Blankenship setting a fire Thursday in the Scuddy Branch Road area.

Blankenship is facing 25 counts of wanton endangerment.

He's being held in the Kentucky River Regional Jail.
