PERRY Co., Ky. (WYMT) - On Wednesday evening veterans in Perry County got the chance to enjoy some holiday cheer.
For the first time the Eastern Kentucky Veterans Center in Hazard set up lights for everyone to enjoy.
Organizers said a lot of time, money and effort went into planning this, but it was more than worth it.
"If it were not for veterans you and I would not be having this conversation right now," said Perry County Clerk Haven King. "We just can never do enough for them."
King said these lights are for everyone in the community to enjoy.
