Man accused of killing another is in police custody

HAzARD, Ky. (WYMT) - A man accused of stabbing and killing a Perry County man is now in police custody.

Kentucky State Police say that Adrian Banks was released to their custody on Tuesday.

He's been in the hospital after allegedly shooting himself.

Banks allegedly murdered Jerry Combs earlier this year in the Allais community of Perry County.

Banks was indicted in September.

He is scheduled to be arraigned on Thursday.
