Today, motorcycles and cars rode in a convoy about 150 miles to raise money for sick babies.
Whayne Supply Company partnered with "March of Dimes" for the "Be a Hero for the Babies Poker Run. All money goes to "March of Dimes," an organization that supports the health of newborns.
Whayne Supply Company employee Justin Ritchie is a "March of Dimes" ambassador, and his son Jonah was born with birth defects. His wife, Crystal Ritchie, says march of dimes saved their son's life.
"If there wasn't as much support, I don't think our babies would be alive. I know my baby probably wouldn't. We wouldn't have a lot of the children that are born so sick," Ritchie said.
"March of Dimes" will hold another event, "March for the Babies" on April 21st at 2 p.m. at Hazard Daniel Field.
