BONNYMAN, Ky (WYMT) - Police say they do not believe a Perry County man's death was related to a meth complaint.
Around 6:45 Tuesday night, police received an anonymous tip of a possible meth lab at 95 Robin Run in the Bonnyman Community.
Police say they found two bottles in a burn pile outside of the house that appeared to be the remnants of a one step meth lab.
Before leaving the house, police went to check on 70-year-old Alva Combs who owned the home, but he was unresponsive.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, but police say he appears to have died of natural causes.
"The residence was checked, and there appeared to be no contraband, no remnants of any meth labs or any hazardous materials were located in the residence to make us believe that that had anything to do with his death," said Tony Watts with Kentucky State Police.
Three people were arrested on non-related charges.
Wesley Fugate, Alva D. Combs and John Combs were taken to jail on outstanding warrants.
