Benny Ray Bailey, Jr. pleaded not guilty Wednesday.
Bailey, along with physicians 'Dusty" Chaney and Andrew Krasuski are accused of working out a pain clinic, Clarion Health and Wellness, and conspiring to unlawfully distribute drugs.
All three have a trial date set for August 12 in London.
A third worker at a clinic in Hazard has been indicted.
Benny Ray Bailey, Junior was scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday afternoon.
Physicians "Dusty" Chaney and Andrew Krasuski were also indicted and have a trial date in August.
The three are accused of working out of a pain clinic, Clarion Health and Wellness, and unlawfully prescribing drugs.
They all face decades behind bars if convicted.
The indictment says Benny Ray Bailey, Junior was an office manager at the clinic.
He is the son of former State Senator Benny Ray Bailey, Senior.
Two Eastern Kentucky doctors are accused of illegally prescribing controlled substances.
James Dustin Chaney and Andrew Krasuski were indicted last month.
The two are accused of working out of a pain clinic, Clarion Health and Wellness, in Hazard and unlawfully prescribing drugs.

The Lexington Herald reports, Tuesday, the state medical licensure board issued an emergency suspension order for Chaney's license on June 30th.
