HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) He was a familiar face on Main Street in Hazard for decades.
Joe Duncan died Friday at the Hazard ARH. He was 85.
Duncan operated Hazard Rexall Drug for many years with his wife Elizabeth.
He came to Hazard in 1952 after graduating from college and bought the drug store, which he operated until 1989.
We interviewed him about the devastating 1957 flood for a series in 2007 and at Circle T Restaurant in 2003, where he was a regular.
Funeral arrangements are expected to be made Saturday.
