A man is accused of trying to rob a woman at gunpoint while she was pumping gas.
It happened at the Super Dollar Gas and Go Wednesday afternoon on Town Mountain Road in Pikeville.
Police say the suspect, 28 year old Jeffrey A. Holbrook of Van Lear, left the gas station after the victim told him she did not have any cash.
Holbrook was later arrested at Wal-Mart on Cassidy Boulevard.
That’s where police say he was shoplifting and also had a gun.
He faces a number of charges and was taken to the Pike County Detention Center.
