PIKEVILLE, Ky. (WYMT) - The Pikeville Fire Department responded to a structure fire on Yorkwood Forest Road early Sunday morning.
Officials say when they arrived on scene, the two-story home was fully engulfed. Fire crews worked for nearly four hours to contain and extinguish the flames.
No one was in the residence at the time of the fire but officials do say the home is a total loss. A cause has not been determined and remains under investigation by the Pikeville Fire Department.
