PIKEVILLE, Ky. (AP) - The University of Pikeville is dedicating a new facility for the Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine this week.
The dedication and ribbon cutting for The Coal Building will be at 4 p.m. EDT Saturday on Hambley Boulevard in front of the university. Tours of the building and a reception will follow.
The university says the $40 million facility is named to recognize the industry that has given significant support to it for years.
A traditional White Coat Ceremony will be held for the Class of 2016 prior to the dedication, at 2 p.m.
