A Pike County man, charged with murder, will be back in court Friday.
Last month Everett Paul Norman claimed self-defense under the "Castle Doctrine," which addresses a person's right to defend themselves or their home with deadly force.
In June, he allegedly shot and killed Jesse Church on Pond Creek Road in the Draffin community.
Norman has pleaded not guilty.
