PIKE COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - An Eastern kentucky community is mourning the loss of a high school junior, after she was killed in a car crash last night.
The Pike County Coroner tells Shelby Valley High school junior, Kaitlyn Kiser was killed in the crash in the Robinson Creek Road in Pike County.
He tells us the passenger in the crash was not injured.
We have confirmed with the principal that the school has postponed tonights homecoming dance in respect for the family.
The coroner tells us wet roads could be a factor in the crash.
