Her family says she is the oldest person in Pike County.
Della Dotson Griffey of Phelps turned 104 years old Thursday.
She was born in Pike County in 1908 and rode on horseback from Phelps to Pikeville where she attended Pikeville College.
She and her husband of sixty two years operated Phelps Plumbing and Electric for forty years.
She is celebrating her 104th with family and friends at the Peter Creek Presbyterian Church.
