The trial of a Pike County man who allegedly impersonated a police officer began Monday.
Harold G. Belcher was arrested last year after police say he made several fake Sheriff's Deputy ID cards and even had a fake badge.
They say Belcher tried to buy police equipment in Lexington with those badges.
The store tipped off the sheriff's office.
