PIKEVILLE, Ky. (WYMT) - Pikeville Police say two of their own were involved in a crash.
It happened just after five o-clock at the intersection of U.S. 119 and U.S. 23 in Pikeville.
They say the police cruiser driven by Officer Joseph Slone was hit by a truck at the intersection.
Police say the officer was responding to an emergency complaint at the time.
Slone, another officer who was with him, Russell Blankenship, and the driver of the truck, Kevin Hunt, were all taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
