When students move into one dormitory at EKU this semester, they'll notice some major changes.
A multi-million dollar makeover of Walter Hall is now complete and officials say they can't wait for students to move in. It has stood on campus for decades and after 14 months of renovation, the dorm will be back open for students to move into this Friday.
Officials say there are new windows, plumbing, ac and hvac. There is also new furniture in the dorm rooms. EKU officials say the $11-million dollar project was worth every penny.
Walter hall houses 385 students and with 2200 new students coming in this year
University officials have also renovated both Clay and Combs Hall. Right now, they say they aren't sure which dorm will be re-done next.
