More than 150 soldiers will be returning home to central Kentucky Friday morning.
Kentucky National Guard officials say a welcome home ceremony will be held in Richmond for the 2123rd Transportation Company.
The ceremony will begin at 11:30 a.m. tomorrow at the First Baptist Church on the Eastern Bypass.
Soldiers with the 2123rd left Kentucky last March for Afghanistan.
Kentucky National Guard officials say the soldiers conducted cargo transportation and armed escort to convoys.
Several soldiers in the company received Combat Action Badges and Purple Hearts for their service in Afghanistan.
