A Richmond man faces charges after police say he tried to cash lottery tickets stolen during a gas station burglary.
Richmond Police charged 40-year-old Bruce W. Flannery with receiving stolen property Tuesday, after they say he tried to cash the tickets at the Redi Mart on Big Hill Avenue.
Flannery was cited, but not arrested.
On Saturday, Richmond Police say thieves got into the Gulf gas station on the Eastern Bypass through a pre-existing hole in the building.
Once inside, the thieves stole 25 cartons of cigarettes, two unopened packs of lottery tickets, and an undisclosed amount of money.
