The search is on for a bank robber who robbed a busy Madison County bank in broad daylight.
The robber hit the Madison Bank on Main Street just after it opened this morning.
Police say the man pointed a gun at two clerks and then took off on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
He possibly got into a green Dodge Intrepid.
The suspect is described as a black man, standing about 6 foot to 6'2'' with a heavy build.
He was wearing a dark hoodie and had a fake beard.
Richmond Police say the same description was used in the robbery of an A+ Cash Advance last week.
They are now trying to determine if the same robber is responsible for both.
The Madison Bank in downtown Richmond was closed for the rest of the day. It will be open for regular business hours beginning Wednesday.
