Three central Kentucky police officers are finding themselves on the wrong side of the law after being indicted.
All three men work for the Richmond Police Department. They were all indicted on charges they were involved in trying to intimidate a woman, who initially accused them of sexually assaulting her.
Patrolmen Garry Murphy and Brian Hensley are charged with helping Sgt. James Rogers by attempting to influence the woman's testimony.
Murphy was also indicted on fourth-degree assault. He's accused of smacking or hitting the woman.
Late Thursday afternoon, Richmond Police Chief Larry Brock issued a statement saying it wouldn't be appropriate for his department to comment on the case at this time.
