Still vacant from a fire from more than a year ago, the apartments along Killarney Lane in Richmond became a target of theft.
Each Carrier hotel style unit stolen is estimated at $1,200 which now takes this crime to a felony, now those living and working nearby are on edge.
Calvin Moberly owns the Animal House Store just across the street from the apartment, making him uneasy this crime is hitting so close to home.
The vehicle police are looking for is an older model Mazda pickup truck in poor condition with no tailgate.
