A man was found murdered in his home, and now three people are behind bars.
Police say two suspects 24-year old William Ambrose an 29-year old Robert Girdner were arrested Tuesday afternoon following a police chase. 22-year old James Brown. was arrested later in the evening.
State police say 33-year-old Gary Hicks, Junior's body was found around 11 Monday night inside his home on Frances Drive in northern Madison County.
Police say he was shot to death. They believe it was a robbery gone wrong.
Neighbors we spoke to say at the time of Hicks' murder, they didn't hear any gunshots in the area.
But they were startled when they found out what had happened.
"He (police officer) says there was a little incident down the street, and someone got shot," neighbor Rita Grant said. "I said, 'Are we going to be safe?' He says, 'Yeah.' Just lock your doors and stay inside, so that's what I did. That was it."
Some of Hicks' friends and family members stopped by his home Tuesday morning, but they didn't want to talk on camera.
They did tell 27 NEWSFIRST Hicks was a good man, who didn't deserve to die this way.
An autopsy on Hicks' body is being performed Tuesday afternoon.
Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Kentucky State Police at 859-623-2404.
