Three people have been killed, and four others injured, following a crash between a car and a pickup in Richmond.
Police say the accident happened around 1:30Thursday afternoon on Irvine Road, also known as Kentucky 52, near the Bypass.
"It was determined a passenger car pulled out from a side street, or what it appears, into the path of a pickup truck and the truck broadsided the car, says Chief Larry Brock with the Richmond Police Department.
We're told three people inside the car were killed. The victims have been identified as 56-year-old Wilma Cox of Irvine, 48-year-old Gregory Hayes of McKee and an unidentified 7-year-old boy. Two others in the car, 32-year-old Debra Griffith of McKee and a male passenger were taken to UK Hospital.
The driver of the pickup truck that was hit is Roger Million Jr. NEWSFIRST has learned he is the brother of LaSha Noe, who was killed in a fire on Spanish Grove Drive in Richmond early Sunday morning.
His female passenger, 35-year-old Billie Masters of Waco was also taken to the hospital.
Police say the three people killed in the crash were wearing seatbelts.
