Katelynn Stinnett National Child Abuse Awareness Memorial Ride to pass through Richmond and Lexington

There will be a child abuse awareness ride June 19th in Richmond KY going through several areas and ending in Lexington KY. This motorcycle ride is called the Katelynn Stinnett National Child Abuse Awareness Memorial Ride...or KSNMR the acronym for Katelynn Stinnett Natl. Memorial Ride. It is named after a child that was killed by her abuser in 2008 in Lexington. This is the second year of this ride and just like the title says it is a NATIONAL ride. There are rides taking place coast to coast in various states, all under the same name, on the same day, for the same reason. All monies raised go directly to child awareness and or child abuse prevention charities in each individual community where there is a ride. Last year over $150,000 was raised nationwide. In Lexington there was 111 bikes and over 200 participants. The monies raised there went to B.A.C.A. ( bikers against child abuse) PCA of KY (prevent child abuse KY which is a division of PCA prevent child abuse America) over $4000 was raised last year for those charities. You can go to www.ksnmr.com which is the national website for this ride. I am attaching a flyer as well as some other info about this ride. This is a ride of great magnitude and importance in that even if it helps one child in the Commonwealth it is well worth all the hard work that is done year round by all the volunteer coordinators.
