Two people arrested for theft at Goodwill

Some arrests have now been made for a theft at a central Kentucky Goodwill that was caught on tape.

Richmond Police released video of the theft Thursday.

They say some expensive items that were accidentally donated to Goodwill were stolen.

Richmond Police say officers arrested Christopher Finley Couch and Starla Dawn Fox this afternoon.

Police say they got a tip Friday morning from someone who saw the surveillance video.

Police then search Couch and Fox's home on Foxhaven Drive in Richmond.

Inside, police say they found two stolen purses, which a Richmond family accidentally dropped off at Goodwill last Tuesday night.

The family told police they donated their daughter's Guess and Vera Bradley purses, two sets of diamond earrings, and personal identification.

They went back to the Richmond Goodwill store 30 minutes later to get the items, but they were gone.

Police say they did not find the diamond earrings or personal ID inside the home.

Both Couch and Fox are charged with theft by unlawful taking.

Fox is facing an additional drug related charge.
