FEMA is about to end operations at its Disaster Recovery Center in Madison County.
The center, on South Keeneland Drive in Richmond, will close at 6 p.m. Saturday.
But emergency officials say the center will reopen Monday morning at 9 as a Disaster Loan Outreach Center.
That center will operate Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., until further notice.
FEMA opened the Disaster Recovery Center in Richmond last month following the floods in Madison County and elsewhere in Kentucky.
It also opened similar centers in several other counties.
At the Loan Outreach Center, emergency officials say Small Business Administration representatives will be on hand to explain the loan application process, to help people complete loan applications, and to answer related questions.
Flood victims have until July 12 to register for both disaster assistance and SBA disaster loans.
