Many homeowners in Berea are still in shock over how much damage was done in a relatively short period of time.
People we met Tuesday say flash flooding took 20-30 minutes to rise into their homes and now it's going to take a long time to recover.
Rhonda Baker has grown accustomed to the creek that runs behind her home causing problems during heavy rains, but never this bad. Inside, water still covers the entire first level, but Baker says her problems pale in comparison to neighbors. Throughout Berea, some homeowners saw yards turned into rivers.
Russ Chamberlin says he won't even know how much damage the flooding has caused to his home until the water recedes.
Some homeowners say this kind of flooding is becoming all too familiar, and it's to the point where every time it rains, they have to worry that their homes could be ruined.
