It is calmer in a Richmond neighborhood after a standoff ended early Thursday.
Police say it started when a man fired shots at police officers Wednesday night.
They were responding to a domestic violence call on Lowell Avenue, near Big Hill Avenue when it happened.
The man inside the home barricaded himself inside, according to police.
They were able to call the home and talk him out after about 45 minutes.
He was then arrested.
No homes were evacuated. However, some neighbors were told to stay inside during the standoff.
