RICHMOND, Ky. – Baptist Health Richmond will host the 19^th Annual Starlight Mile and 5K on Friday, October 19 in Downtown Richmond. This year’s event will feature both the one mile fun run as well as a 5K race. Registration will begin at 5 p.m. on First Street near Madison County Courthouse; the one-mile fun run will begin at 7:30, followed by the 5K at 8:00 p.m.

There will be fun for all ages at the annual event. In addition to being a fun, family event, the Starlight event will be the second leg of the Madison County Schools Triple Crown of running where the school with the most participants will receive a donation to their schools’ health and wellness program, as well as accumulate points for the Caudill Cup and overall Triple Crown prize.

Everyone is invited to enjoy a free concert on the Courthouse Lawn and visit downtown businesses who will be offering “Starlight Specials.”
