Berea police have linked a man arrested after an armed robbery Monday morning to at least three other crimes.
The Dollar General on Prince Royal Drive was held up at gun point just after 8 a.m. As officers were arriving to the business, we're told they spotted a man who matched the description of the suspect.
Berea Police tell us when they stopped the man, he had a large amount of cash on him. Officers say they then found a handgun nearby.
Police say 21-year-old Daimon Mardis admitted he robbed the Dollar General. When police searched his Oak Street home, they tell us they found several items from three other recent business burglaries in Berea.
Police say they also found clothing that matches video surveillance taken from those burglaries.
Mardis is charged with robbery, possesion of a handgun by a convicted felon and three counts of burglary.
