Richmond Police say the manager of Madison County Investment Properties reported on Tuesday that the business had been broken into during the overnight hours and an undisclosed amount of cash was stolen.
The burglar got inside the building by cutting a hole through the metal siding of the building. Police say the man was caught on surveillance cameras. He appears to be a white male, approximately 5’6”, slender build, with a distinctive tattoo on top of his left forearm. He was wearing what appeared to be baggy brown sweat pants, a green hooded sweatshirt with white lettering on the front (possibly an American Eagle logo), and Adidas athletic shoes.
Police say the suspect appears to be the same person who broke into the company back on January 8. In that incident, the burglar also got into the business by cutting a hole in the building similar to the more recent incident. However, nothing appeared to have been stolen in the first break-in.
