Some Kentuckians who survived that cruise ship crash in Italy are back in Kentucky.
They arrived at Louisville International Airport late Sunday night.
One of those survivors, 28-year-old Lauren Moore, returned with her four friends from Louisville.
There is still no word on when an EKU student, Joseph Ryan, will return.
A newlywed couple from Boyd County, Andrew and Meghan Ardire, also made it off the boat safely. They spent several days in a hotel in Rome before getting their trip home arranged. A cruise representative asked the couple of they would like to be placed on another European cruise for "their inconvenience." The Ardires said they just want to make it back home to Kentucky. They are now scheduled to arrive by Tuesday.
As of Monday morning, six people were confirmed dead from the ship wreck. At least one dozen remain missing.
Meanwhile, the ship's captain has been arrested and charged with manslaughter and abandoning the ship before the more than four thousand passengers were safely off the ship.
