Drivers in Richmond are not happy after some stations raised their prices to more than $4.00 a gallon.
Within the last few weeks gas prices throughout the state have gone up. Currently, the average price of gas in the state of Kentucky is $3.90 a gallon. This time last year, gas was .30 cents cheaper at just $3.60 a gallon, according to Triple A.
The average price of gas for Lexington is $3.84.
Many drivers say with summer just around the corner, and gas at four dollars a gallon, they will most likely have to rearrange their summer plans.
