Gregory Todd has spent several hours today on the picturesque bank of Lake Beulah in Jackson County, but he's not here for the view. He's here to find answers in the case of his daughter's disappearance.
"that's my daughter. I can't give up. I'll never give up. That's something any parent would do," says Gregory Todd. He's is living every parent's worst nightmare. His daughter Sonsaray Warford has been missing since June 28. She disappeared along with Charles Walker leaving their 2 boys behind. Mr. Todd has passed out buttons with their picture and set up a Facebook page dedicated to finding them. Today he's walking this bank hoping to find answers in the murky water. He says the search has consumed him.
"I spend all my time thinking about it, praying about it. Countless hours. Anytime I'm out, I'm looking," he says.
Mr. Todd says a tip led him here and that he's been shocked by the amount of support pouring in from the community.
"People see the buttons, they tell me they're praying for me. I got my buddy out here today with me looking. He's giving up time with his family," he says.
Mr. Todd didn't find anything today, but he still clings to the hope he'll find some closure in time for Christmas.
"It was hard. It's a day of thanks for things you've got. Christmas will be hard. You just hope something comes out of it," says Mr. Todd.
After leaving here, Mr. Todd headed to another pond in the area, staying true to his word that he'll never give up hope.
