Workers at a golf course say they caught a glimpse of a special bird on Wednesday morning.

A bald eagle was spotted in a tree at Gibson Bay Golf Course in Madison County.

The superintendent of the course says he's seen the eagle a couple of times since November.

On Wednesday, he was able to snap a picture of the bird.

According to Fish & Wildlife, this is the time of year bald eagles in Kentucky lay their eggs.

The babies usually leave the nest between April and July.
