Ray Lasoya
Richmond Police arrested a man for shooting a gun into an apartment Thursday afternoon. Police charged 19-year-old Ray A. Lasoya of Waynesburg with first degree wanton endangerment.
"I heard a really loud noise and it scared me half to death and I wasn't sure what it was," said Amanda Rollins.
Rollins lives in an apartment on Alycia Drive and her husband called police after finding a bullet hole in the wall. Police say it was apparent the bullet had come from an adjoining apartment. Upon making contact with the residents in the adjoining apartment, officers determined that Lasoya had been handling a firearm in the apartment when he discharged the firearm into the wall.
Police say after the gun went off Lasoya never checked on his neighbors to see if they were hurt. No one was hurt in the incident.
