Richmond Police arrested 21-year-old Jordan C. Story Saturday for assaulting a police officer following a disturbance at Jerzees bar.
Police say officer’s patrolling the area saw a fight in front of the bar shortly after 1:30am. Officers say one of the people involved in the fight was observed to be Story. Other responding officers arrived and were able to gain control of Story. Police say the officer involved in the original incident received minor cuts to his elbows and his glasses were broken in the incident. Police say Story was treated on scene by EMS for minor injuries he had received in the earlier fight at Jerzees.
Story was taken to the Madison County Jail and charged with disorderly conduct, fleeing or evading police, assault, alcohol intoxication, resisting arrest, and criminal mischief.
