The Madison County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man for rape and kidnapping after a disturbance call in the area of Panola and Knob Lick in Madison County at approximately 3:30am Thursday.
Deputies say Scott Cornett assaulted a woman who was found at the scene with cuts and bruises. She was taken to the hospital for treatment and eventually released.
