The morning commute got off to a slick start for drivers in central Kentucky with multiple crashes reported during the morning rush hour Thursday.
Most of the wrecks happened along I-75.
Overnight, at least two people went to the hospital following crashes in Lexington.
The driver of one car says he hit a slick spot while driving on Briar Hill at Haley Road in eastern Fayette County.
He crossed the center line and hit another car head-on.
The driver of the car that crossed the line went to the hospital with minor injuries.
Another driver went to the hospital after police say he crashed his car into two utility poles at Versailles Road and Mason Headley.
The vehicle then flipped over. Police think alcohol and slick roads may have played a role in that crash.
