Police say a serial car thief has been taking vehicles on test drives that don't end back with the sellers.
Berea Police Sgt. Jake Reed told The Richmond Register that the man took a 2009 Toyota Corolla for a test drive from Berea Auto Sales on Wednesday. Reed said the man didn't return and left behind a car with an Ohio license plate.
The plate, Reed said, was stolen from a car taken for a test drive and not returned and didn't belong on the car left behind. Reed said that the car was also stolen from Franklin County, Ohio, where it had been for sale and taken for a test drive.
Reed said the man stands about 5 feet, 10 inches tall, and weighs roughly 170 lbs.
