The first drawing for Kentucky’s newest jackpot game, Decades of Dollars, was held last night and while there were no top prize winners, Kentucky had two winners of the second prize. The winning tickets matched five of the six winning numbers to win the $10,000 prize.
The tickets were sold at Jack’s BP in Richmond and Ramey’s Qwik Stop in Vicco, in eastern Kentucky. In Kentucky, there were 17,351 winning tickets worth nearly $85,000 for the first Decades of Dollars drawing.
Jack’s BP has been a lucky spot for Kentucky Lottery players. The store sold three top prize tickets for Win For Life, netting the winners a $1,000 a week for the rest of their lives. Win For Life ended on Saturday and was replaced with Decades of Dollars. Decades of Dollars offers a top prize of $250,000 a year for 30 years. The game is drawn on Monday and Thursday.
Players are encouraged to sign the backs of their tickets immediately. Prizes can be claimed at our regional offices in Madisonville, Prestonsburg or Lexington or at our corporate office in Louisville.
