The GB rocket vapor leak detected October 28 was identified and overpacked by Blue Grass Chemical Activity toxic material crews. The leaking munition was then moved to a separate leaker igloo. Follow-on monitoring was conducted for three consecutive days with negative results; therefore, closing the event.
Madison County and Commonwealth of Kentucky Emergency Management Agencies as well as the Kentucky Department of Environmental Protection were kept informed during all aspects of operations. The community and environment were never at risk.
